Man Gets His Bits Out Then Blames Viagra

A man arrested for allegedly exposing himself to another motorist while driving has defended himself by saying that he has just taken the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra. The incident took place in Manatee County, Florida.
A woman driving said that she was driving with her two children when Douglas Benkert Jr. pulled up beside her vehicle in a pickup truck. After looking over, she reported that he seemed to be masturbating. She said that after looking over at her, he continued to touch himself.
She then slowed down, pulled up behind him and called the police. A deputy sheriff from the Manattee Country Sheriff’s office arrested him soon afterwards as he was driving along the freeway.
Mr. Benkert however has protested his innocence, saying he was only ‘adjusting’ himself after taking half a 100mg Viagra tablet, which he had just purchased from a local pharmacy. Upon searching his car, the deputies discovered a bottle of Viagra in the pick-up truck.
Mr Benkert now faces a charge of lewd and disorderly behaviour but has been released from the county jail after posting a bond of $10,000.
